Jason Mottram Shines in National Care Awards

We are incredibly proud to announce that Jason Mottram, our Head of Housekeeping at Hanford Court Care Home, has been awarded the prestigious 2017 National Care Home Award for Housekeeping. This fantastic award was presented to Jason in recognition of his attitude, skills and knowledge.

The glittering Awards Presentation Dinner occurred at the outstanding Hilton London Metropole on Friday 24th November, welcoming guests from across the care sector. Jason was up against some tough competition, but out of the five finalists, the judges decided that Jason demonstrated the commitment needed to make a real difference.

Jason joined Avery in 2012 and has consistently and diligently worked to exceed expectations. He manages the requirements at Hanford Court with his hardworking team, but also provides guidance and support to colleagues in the ten homes within the region as an area specialist for Avery.

Jason certainly inspires and motivates those around him, leading by example and going the extra mile. He has a great rapport with our residents, ensuring that their preferences are met when servicing bedrooms – even if it means making swan sculptures out of the towels! These special touches make a huge difference.

Jason’s personal skills are matched by his clear understanding of Person Centred Care, Respect and Dignity to ensure that our residents receive five-star hospitality. It was no surprise to us that Jason has been recognised for his efforts and has been awarded this excellent accolade.

Davesh Kumar, Head of Hotel Services, said, “Jason has developed a team that is consistent, dependable and has a culture of working to exceed expectations; his approach makes the residents very happy, which contributes to making the home a warm and welcoming place to live.”

From all of us at Hanford Court, thank you Jason. We’re so proud that your hard work has been recognised with this award – it is richly deserved!
