Rowan Court Care Home Impresses Healthwatch Staffordshire!

We are proud to announce that Rowan Court Care Home in Newcastle-under-Lyme has impressed Healthwatch Staffordshire at a recent unannounced inspection.

The Healthwatch remit is to carry out ‘Enter and View’ visits to health and social care premises to find out how they are being run and make recommendations where there are areas for improvement, and their report on Rowan Court radiated positivity.

Healthwatch Representatives found that any concerns had been addressed, stating, “It is evident that a lot of improvements have taken place.” They also commented, “The appointment earlier in the year of a new Manager and recently a new Deputy Manager seems to have been very positive, with staff embracing the changes made to improve the home and through the additional training given.”

Jacinta Greatrex, Rowan Court Home Manager, was delighted. “The team and I have worked hard together to make positive changes throughout the home; it is fantastic to see Healthwatch recognise this. We will continue our quest for consistent high standards and the well-being of our residents will, as always, be our priority.”
