Care Homes in Bristol

We have two care homes in Bristol – Avon Valley Care Home opened in summer 2019 in Kingswood on Tenniscourt Road (BS15 4JW), and Avonmere Care Home that opened in 2017 in Downend, Bristol (BS36 1AJ), close to the Wick Wick Roundabout on the Bristol ring road. Both homes are on the outskirts of Bristol with good access to South Gloucestershire and the Cotswolds.

We know that there is no substitute for actually visiting a care home, so don’t take our word for it, come visit us, no need to make an appointment, but if a particular date and time suites you please contact us and see for yourself what sets our residential care homes apart. We are rightly proud of what these care homes in Bristol have achieved in their first few years of operation.

Residential Care Homes in Bristol

Both Avon Valley Care Home and Avonmere Care Home offer excellent residential care. Our teams of professionally trained care staff are on hand to provide the support our residents need, whenever they need it – 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The level of support on offer can range from help with managing medication to assistance with getting dressed in the morning.

We pride ourselves on having created a ‘home-from-home’ environment across our many locations. Life doesn’t stop being exciting at our Bristol care homes. With greenhouses and potting sheds for those who dabble in horticulture, cafés and dining rooms for those who love food, and comfortable lounges for those who enjoy a chinwag, there’s always plenty for you or your loved one to get involved in.

Dementia Care Homes in Bristol

We offer across both of our Bristol care homes. Through our innovative , we’re able to understand our residents and the lives they’ve lived. This gives us a better understanding of their specific needs and helps to create a person-centred care plan.

Our approach is compassionate and designed to help those affected by dementia live comfortably. This is reflected across all elements of our dementia care homes in Bristol, including the food served by our chefs. They’ve developed that are every bit as delicious as our regular options, they’ve just been adapted for cutlery-free eating – to bring joy to dining.

Respite Care Homes in Bristol

Looking for temporary care for a loved one to allow you to take a short break away from caring? Our in Bristol provide a comfortable solution for both the recipients and providers of care.

A short-term stay at one of our homes can provide a great introduction to care home life. It provides an excellent opportunity to sample our fantastic facilities and strike up friendships and bonds with our residents and staff – all while continuing to receive that consistent level of care.
