Avonmere Lead the Way with Good CQC Report and Knight Frank Entry!

We’re very proud to announce that Avonmere Care Home has recently achieved a Good In All Categories rating by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) in our first unannounced inspection. As an addition, we have also been recognised by Knight Frank with an entry into their 2019 Luxury Care Home Guide.

Avonmere Care Home Bristol CQC Result Staff Team

The CQC grades services delivered in care homes in five categories (Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive and Well-led) and adjudged that our care home and staff scored consistently high throughout.

Our report from the CQC glowed with fantastic comments from residents, relatives, visiting professionals and staff. Some of our favourites are: “There are always lots of interesting things to do… I’ve made lots of friends here” and “All the staff are friendly and make you welcome – they can’t do enough for you”.

One relative told CQC that their family member “…thanks me every time I come in for finding her such a nice place” and another relative said “I would give Avonmere 10/10 for everything” – high praise indeed!

Our beautiful home has also been announced as an entry in the Knight Frank Luxury Care Home Guide for 2019. Knight Frank is one of the major commercial property consultants and agencies in the UK with a market leading healthcare division, and to showcase the sector produces a definitive annual guide of care homes that meet its exacting criteria. Julian Evans, Head of Healthcare for Knight Frank, commented, “The Guide lists those homes that an independent care sector panel assess as offering the best in both care and the built environment, representing innovative and market leading product. Avery’s Avonmere is a clear addition for our 2019 Guide and we are pleased to include it”.
