Horse Fair Sponsors The Ravens Youth Football Team

Here at Horse Fair Care Home, we firmly believe that getting older doesn’t necessarily mean giving up the things you love and enjoy! We encourage our residents to continue doing the things that make them happy, be it old hobbies or new interests offered through our varied Well-being and activities programme.

This year we wanted to show our support for our local youth football team ‘The Ravens’ from Brereton Town Football Club.

The team came along to visit in their smart new strip for this season, which has been sponsored by our owner and operator Avery Healthcare.

We spent some time with the team having fun and posing for photos following a presentation. New friendships were made and top tips shared, as several of our residents used to play the game themselves in the past. These intergenerational activities are incredibly valuable for all involved, and we hope the team do well in the upcoming seasons!

To see more about what we regularly get up to, see our Horse Fair Care Home facebook page. For more stories from Avery Healthcare, check out our News section on our website or see the latest issue of the Avery magazine Welcome Home. Recent stories include an interview with Bourn View’s resident spoon-player extraordinaire and the fantastic donation for the Alzheimer’s Society, raised by all the Avery Healthcare care homes. We also invite you to see how we’re bringing our residents stories to life in our Life Stories.
