Brand 5 Premium rating for Alder House Care Home by NNC

We are pleased to announce that Alder House Care Home has been rated Band 5 Premium by Notts County Council (NCC) following their recent inspection.

NCC found that we met high standards throughout all 5 categories, with residents receiving quality care through an effective and professionally managed service. The managers take responsibility, are appropriately registered and accountable for their actions, and have an effective system for identifying, assessing and monitoring complaints and the quality of the service provision.

The NCC report highlighted that “People are supported by staff, whom are respectful and dignified, professional in their dealings, and supported to maintain their individual routines. The care setting is suitable, safe and homely.” The NCC also stated that “Our observations of staff interactions with residents showed us that staff were confident, friendly, kind, calm, respectful, supportive and caring.”

Our home is also rated Good by the Care Quality Commission, which grades the services delivered in care homes in five categories (Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive and Well-led).

The NCC also rated Acer Court Care Home, assessing both of our Avery care homes in Nuthall as Band 5 Premium.

Our priority is delivering the highest level of care and support to our residents; we will maintain these high standards and aim to be Outstanding.”
