Astbury Manor Care Home opened in August 2017 and is one of Avery Healthcare’s latest builds. The three-storey building has two floors devoted to residential care and one to memory care, and is designed to a very high specification throughout from the landscaped and terraced grounds through to furniture and furnishings.
The home is a ten-minute walk from the centre of Bracknell, a town currently undergoing exciting new regeneration and development, and has very good transport links, being close to the railway station and the A322 which leads on to the M4.
Staff at Astbury Manor make the transition from home to a home as seamless as possible and to focus on the needs of every individual under their care, while at the same time involving family and friends in the process. Strong bonds of communication are essential to a happy and well-run enterprise. We run our own Facebook which we update regularly so that family can keep in touch with what we are up to.
As for the physical environment, there are spacious single rooms as well as some companion suites for couples. All rooms are decorated and furnished in a calm and soothing style and equipped with wet rooms, television and telephone points; rooms on the ground floor open out on to the gardens. Residents will be encouraged to personalise their rooms as they please.
Each floor has its own café/seating area and large dining area, and on the top floor there is a cinema room, spa room and hairdressing salon.View Our Image Gallery

But you can rest assured that there will daily activities to keep both mind and body active such as yoga, tai chi, armchair exercises, book clubs and outside talks, making full use of modern technology and computers along the way. You are never too old to learn!
