Tea with Sherrie at Crispin Court
We were so excited to invite Avery Ambassador Sherrie Hewson to our Afternoon Tea event at Crispin Court Care Home on the 24th September.
Sherrie took the time to speak with all residents and posed for photographs with residents, visitors and families. Everyone at Crispin Court appreciated how she also spoke to all the staff on duty and posed for many pictures. They enjoyed Sherrie’s visit and were delighted to receive praise from her for the work they do with the residents.
The entertainment for the day was provided by accordionist Rob Burton, who coincidentally used to be an extra in Coronation Street. Sherrie recognised Rob and they spent time reminiscing about their past on the show. The residents danced with Sherrie and they all sang along to Rob’s tunes.
Residents and visitors all remarked on how friendly and approachable Sherrie was, enjoyed conversations about the music and how much they enjoyed dancing and singing along.
On Sherrie’s journey back to the theatre for her evening Benidorm Live showing, she remarked on how much she had enjoyed the visit and how lovely it was to see happy residents and staff.
