“Kind, polite, respectful and caring”: Spencer House CQC Report

Spencer House Care Home, in Northampton, recently received a new Care Quality Commission (CQC) report as part of its new strategy for the changing world of health and social care.

To help continue to support care services as safely as possible, CQC has changed how they monitor and inspect the care industry. Replacing the previous ESF framework inspection, the new transitional framework focuses on key areas such as infection prevention and control.

In the report, it was noted that the relatives of residents at the home were comfortable with the care provided at Spencer House, and residents said staff were, “Kind, polite, respectful and caring.”

Pleased with the result of the new report, Home Manager, Shweta Mendon commented, “I am incredibly proud of the team at Spencer House and how hard everybody has worked and pulled together, especially through the difficult times we have all faced. All of our staff are committed to ensuring that Spencer House offers the best service to all our residents and their families from the moment they are welcomed into our home.”
