The CQC awards Cliftonville a ‘Good in All Categories’ rating.
Our team at Cliftonville Care Home in Northampton is delighted to share the news that following an unannounced inspection by the Care Quality Commission, we have been rated as Good in All Categories for the fifth consecutive time! The CQC spends time during its inspection speaking to staff, residents and relatives and seeks quotes to support its findings.
A home which receives Good in All Categories has received a good rating in all five categories, meaning the home’s performance is consistent across the five categories.
Our report had plenty of positive comments from residents, such as: “I feel very safe here, I came here for respite first but felt so happy I wanted to stay”, “I’ve made it my home and it would be hard to find anything better” and, “The activities are great both onsite and offsite. Last week some of us went on a barge trip and had a pub lunch as well”. Staff spoke to the CQC and told them: “The best thing about working here is teamwork, and support from management”.
Our Home Manager Cathy Frost is pleased with retaining this result, saying “I am very proud of the team at Cliftonville retaining ‘Good’ in all areas of our recent CQC inspection. To achieve such a great result comes from the hard work and dedication of every single team member coming together to achieve the best for each of our wonderful residents, whom I feel privileged to work with.”
