Clayton Manor Work With Readesmoor Medical Centre in Vaccine Administration

Clayton Manor Care Home and Readesmoor Medical Centre, both of Congleton, were delighted to work together to administer the Oxford Astra Zeneca vaccine to all residents on Saturday 9th January 2021. It was a particularly exciting day as Clayton Manor was the first home in the town to receive the vaccine with one of the first batches of the drug, LOT number AB0001. Dr Thomas and Dr Barnsley attended the home on the Saturday morning and were assisted by Advanced Senior Carer, Steve Udall, in a busy but very exciting morning. Mary Bridgehouse was the first resident to receive the vaccine and said she was “delighted”.

Clayton Manor and Readesmoor Medical Practice have enjoyed an excellent working relationship for many years delivering the highest standard of care to the people living in the home which cares for people living with general nursing, residential and dementia residential needs.
