Clayton Manor receives great CQC rating!

Clayton Manor Care Home in Congleton has recently been inspected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). We are proud to announce that the CQC has rated our service as Good In All Categories!

The CQC grades care homes and other care facilities on five target areas; Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive and Well Led. After their 2-day inspection, the CQC decided that Clayton Manor scored consistently throughout.

During the inspection, the CQC looked at five key areas; Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive and Well Led. It is highlighted in our report that we have scored consistently throughout! The CQC also spoke to staff, residents and relatives, and this is what they had to say:

Resident’s good experiences at the home were summed up by two people, who said, “This place makes me feel really comfortable and safe” and, “I have absolutely no concerns about safety and a lot of that is down to retention of good, hard-working staff”.

Residents also commented, “I really do feel safe here and that is because the staff are brilliant” and “The staff here will not take any chances with safety and that is very reassuring”.

Relatives spoke about our staff and said: “I spend a lot of time in this place and am always impressed by the way in which carers relate to individual residents” and, “The staff seem to work really hard to care for residents and we, as a family, have every confidence in them”.
