Producing Our Own Herbs
Spencer House has produced its own herbs for use by its kitchen team in the production of fresh, locally sourced produce. Cultivated by our gardening club, the herbs are a welcome addition to our other locally sourced produce which our chef and his team work tirelessly to source from suppliers across Northamptonshire.
Herbs such as Sage, Rosemary, Mint and Thyme have helped bring an added flavour to meal times and the residents plan to expand the herb planters into other areas of the garden. The aroma is also proving to be a great hit with residents who can smell these aromatics from the lounge areas when the weather is fine.
