Supporters Help Avery Secure Three Top 20 Awards

Avery Healthcare is proud to have been voted one of the top 20 care providers in the Large Provider category of’s 2019 Care Home industry awards. The Large Provider category has 116 qualified operators (with 20 or more homes) and the Avery score of 9.5 out of 10 (from over 1,500 reviews) is something the homes have worked hard to achieve.

As the care sector market leader and trusted review platform, reviews are extremely credible, principally because they are submitted by people who are the closest the services than anyone else, namely the residents and their family members. Such reviews are thus a great indication of the health of a care home or portfolio of care homes.

Avery are delighted to also have won two regional awards for being in the top 20 placed homes in both the London and Midlands regions. With some 1,400 homes in the London region and 1,550 homes in the Midlands region, this places both homes into the top 1.5% of providers in those competitive areas.

Birchwood Grange in Harrow has an amazing 112 current reviews and a score average of 9.9, and our Midlands home, Alder House, has a perfect 10 from 22 reviews. Birchwood Grange has now won this accolade for three successive years, a remarkable achievement and true reflection of the great family-oriented atmosphere that is this homes’ hallmark. Alder House is the third Avery home to have won a regional distinction since the awards started in 2017.

Commenting on the achievement Mark Danis, Commercial Director said, “We pay great attention to these reviews. Each and every one is a comment from those that really understand and are a recipient of our service, and each is an opportunity to see how well we are delivering.”
