South Lodge is Finalist for Regional Care Home of the Year!
We are very proud to announce that South Lodge Care Home in Leicester is a finalist for Regional Care Home of the Year (in Midlands & Wales category) from the Caring UK Awards 2018!
Caring UK is a magazine for managers in the elderly care sector that features parliamentary and legal updates, news, conference coverage, events and exhibition previews and business and property updates. This is the second year of the Caring UK Awards, which celebrate excellence and pay tribute to those who make an outstanding contribution to caring for the elderly throughout the care industry.
This is the first time that the home has entered the award, so we are all incredibly proud to have been shortlisted as finalists. Sarah, our Client Liaison Manager, entered our home for the award and was thrilled with the result, saying “I am so delighted that we have been nominated as a regional finalist for the Care Home of Year! I put South Lodge forward for this award as I wanted to reflect how our team deserves to receive such an acknowledgement from within the industry. Our team work tirelessly to provide the best in care and this is shown throughout all of the home and in all roles. I am proud to represent South lodge to families and fully believe we are the best care home in the region.”

Dominic Musgrave, Editor of Caring UK, will be visiting our home in early October to talk with Sarah, take a tour of the home and also take the opportunity to talk with residents, families and staff as part of the final assessment for the award. The winners will then be announced at an impressive awards ceremony on Thursday 6th December at Athena in Leicester.
