Knowle Gate Sports day residents and staff
Company News, Knowle Gate, Solihull, Staffordshire

Ready, Steady, Go!

With the delayed 2020 Olympics just around the corner, Knowle Gate was in full spirit as they decided to host their very own sports day to help fundraise for The Care Worker’s Charity (CWC). The day was packed with exciting games, which saw residents and staff members partake in activities including an egg and spoon race, hula hooping, sack race, laps around the garden and cone ring toss. Several staff members were seen donning a vibrant orange wig and clothing supporting the CWC as they triumphed against their colleagues and residents to claim gold.

The activities brought back some fond memories as residents spent time reminiscing about their school sports days. Resident John Lee, who took part in the sports day, mentioned, “It was such a fun day, I thoroughly enjoyed taking part! It brought back so many memories from my running days.”
