Managing Director’s Award for Andrew at Horse Fair

Andrew Pointon at Horse Fair Care Home in Rugeley, Staffordshire, was our superstar in March, being recognised with the coveted Managing Director’s Award.

Andrew, Maintenance Person at Horse Fair, is far more than his job title. Known affectionately in our home as “Jeeves”, Andrew knows each resident personally, taking the time to remember their likes and preferences whilst showing a lovely warmth to everyone. Andrew is the life and soul of our home, going above his duties on a daily basis. From taking residents for walks in the garden to see the birds or singing their favourite songs with them as they stroll down the corridor, Andrew makes life special in the home for all our residents.

Andrew was nominated for our own Hero Award at Horse Fair in December, and not a resident or relatives meeting passes without a positive comment about him. Avery’s Managing Director, John Strowbridge, was pleased to say a big ‘Well Done’ for his dedication and efforts.
