Hinckley House Celebrates Fifth Birthday
This August, Hinckley House Care Home celebrated in style with a huge party for our fifth birthday party!
Our home was beautifully decorated with bunting and blue, white and silver glitter balloons, with the colour theme continuing in the stunning floral display in our reception area.
We rewarded staff with flowers and prosecco as a thank you for their commitment to Avery, and Fred Rolfe, our first ever resident at Hinckley House, was presented with an engraved carriage clock to mark the occasion.
Residents and their families, along with the Mayor of Hinckley and her consort, had a ball dancing along to the talented vocalist Glyn Morley, who has recently appeared in the local theatre production of Made in Dagenham.
The Mayor stayed with us while the presentations were made and afterwards joined Fred and Paul Botham, our Home Manager, in cutting our home’s birthday cake, which everyone adored! Our brilliant Chef and her team also put on a delicious buffet for all to enjoy too.
The party atmosphere continued throughout the day, with residents, families and staff all coming together to celebrate.
We are incredibly proud of all that we have achieved in five years and want to thank every resident, staff member, relative and visitor for their continued support. Here’s to the next five years!
