Clare Court Care Home Sparkles in CQC Inspection

We are proud to announce that Clare Court Care Home has scored ‘Good in All Categories’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) following an unannounced inspection in late August.

The CQC adjudged that our home and staff scored consistently highly throughout its in five categories (Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive and Well-led). The report had many positive comments from staff, residents and visitors about the care home. Here are some of the highlights:

One resident said, “…it’s well run, all the staff know what they are doing, and the manager is great” and another said “I feel safe because [the staff] are patient.” They also commented on the service provided, saying “You get good food and there is always a choice. You get asked what you would like on the menu.”

The report stated that the staff they talked with “spoke warmly about the people they supported and provided care for and said they enjoyed working at the home”. One member of staff told them “I like to work for people and like to see them happy. That’s the best part of my job.”

Relatives also said staff were caring. One relative commented, “The staff are absolutely brilliant. I’d give them 10 out of 10.” and another family member said “I would recommend the home to anybody. The new management have made improvements.”
