The beautifully landscaped gardens of South Lodge Care Home in Leicester were in full bloom throughout the summer, with plenty of pretty flowers and all kinds of creatures and bugs paying a visit. A group of nature-loving residents saw this as the perfect opportunity to capture the beauty of nature themselves by partaking in a digital photography session hosted by the Well-being and Activities team.
One resident was very impressed by the photographs quoting, “It’s so easy to take pictures, and you can see the amazing results straight away. I thoroughly enjoyed taking part in this activity. It was such great fun!” The photos are now displayed on the homes activities board for all residents to admire, and the group have now gained further interest from fellow residents to join them in their next session in the autumn.
