Residents enjoy armchair exercises, the arts and crafts club, sewing, growing herbs and vegetables in garden spaces and watching all the birds on the bird feeders. The garden is a sun trap and a lovely place for a morning coffee, afternoon tea or simply just having a good old chinwag. We have our own minibus which finds its way to the local Basingstoke and Hampshire sites of interest, the shops or the local pub for lunch. We work up an appetite which serves us well when meal times come around.
All our food is cooked on the premises and offers good nutrition and variety, although we always like some good old fish and chips on a Friday and roast dinners on a Sunday! All special diets can be taken care of and healthy snacks, cakes and biscuits are always on offer throughout the day if a top-up is needed.
