Avery clear up at the Qube Learning Awards
At Avery Healthcare, we were proud to have so many candidates up for awards at the Qube Learning Award this year in recognition of all their hard work.
Established in 1999, Qube Learning is a training provider specialising in vocational qualifications, core skills and short courses. Qube currently work with hundreds of employers across the country delivering a range of training and qualifications to a multitude of learners in a wide range of industries.
As well as providing a quality lifestyle for our residents, our company also invests greatly in staff, to attract, develop, and retain the best in the sector. We now have structured care pathways for all staff in both care and non-care roles, including our own Apprentice Scheme, the Avery Care Certificate, the Advanced Senior Carer programme that supports the nurse role and support our nurses on revalidation. Regional trainers support training based in every home, and we deliver blended learning through face to face and online content through our Aspire training programme.
We were proud to walk away with four awards and two highly commendations which were:
Avery Healthcare – Large employer of the year
Diane Lomax, Training Officer – Higher Apprentice of the Year
Louise Whiston of Hempstalls Hall Care Home – Young Apprentice of the Year
Elizabeth Whitehouse of Newcross Care Home – Outstanding Achiever Award
Sharon Whitehead, Home Manager of Acorn Lodge attained the Higher Apprentice of the Year
Sam Potter of Acacia Lodge attained Adult Apprentice of the Year
This is a simply stunning result for Avery Healthcare to carry off four of the awards, plus two commendations. This great achievement has come after previous awards in two of the top sector awards. The Directors and senior management of Avery would like to publicly acknowledge the fantastic dedication and effort that all of our homes staff put in to making Avery the very best it can be in all sectors.
