Clare Court Celebrates Managing Director’s Award

Samantha Litchmore, Home Trainer at Clare Court Care Home in Winson Green, was recently honoured for her outstanding achievements by winning the Managing Director’s Award for September. Clare Court is owned and operated by leading national care provider Avery Healthcare, and MD John Strowbridge was on hand to present Samantha with a certificate and cheque for her successful work. Avery strives to provide the very best in care and they regularly and independently audit all aspects of each care home, including staff training, over which Avery is well respected.

Samantha is the very first Home Trainer in Avery’s history to score a perfect 100%, demonstrating the care and dedication she has shown to the role, and how she has developed the staff group. “I’ve been in the trainer role at Clare Court for six years now, but the support that Avery have given me since they took over eighteen months ago has been fantastic, and has really helped me develop. Continuous training opportunities means that I can work towards career advancement and becoming a regional trainer. We’ve have also had a new manager since Avery took over, and the support from Kim and Avery’s national training team has made the difference for me, the staff, and the residents”.
