Our care homes marked Shrove Tuesday with joyful celebrations, plenty of laughter, and stacks of tasty pancakes!
At Aran Court Care Home in Birmingham, residents enjoyed making their own pancake toppings, while Hempstalls Hall Care Home in Newcastle-under-Lyme saw a competitive pancake tossing contest, with some impressive skills on display.
Over at Bridge Manor Care Home in Wombourne, pancake flipping brought back fond memories, and Silvermere Care Home in Cobham basked in the sunshine while indulging in sweet treats.
Squires Mews Care Home in Northampton held a busy morning with exercise and a quiz, followed by a golf putting session, while Ascot Grange Care Home in Ascot served pancakes with a variety of toppings.
Bagshot Gardens Care Home in Bagshot had Head Chef Tina flipping pancakes for everyone, and Brentwood Arches Care Home in Brentwood mixed things up with a trip to the pub, while Eastbourne Gardens Care Home in Eastbourne impressed with a mix of history, trivia, and plenty of syrup!
In Esher Manor Care Home in Esher, Joan triumphed in the pancake tossing competition, and at Fleet Hall Care Home in Fleet, the classic lemon and sugar topping was a favourite.
Mousehold View Care Home in Norwich added a touch of elegance with Prosecco, and Duke’s Court Care Home in Wellingborough raced to the finish line in their corridor race.
