Staff and residents across our homes are committed to supporting their local communities and building strong links within our local areas. At Elvy Court Care Home in Sittingbourne, Kent, team members recently donated a range of unused PPE items including face masks and shields to a local volunteer group, Sittingbourne and Sheppey Helping Ukrainians. The local group supports Ukrainian refugees, host families, and those fighting on the front line.
Thanking staff and residents for their efforts, volunteer Danielle Izzard stated, “I cannot tell you how grateful we are for your support. Your donations have been taken to the depot and will leave on 15th July. Your kindness will help to make a difference.”
