Crispin Court Treble Double!
The staff at Crispin Court Care Home in Stafford are delighted to announce that they have retained their Double Gold in Catering and Housekeeping Awards from the Continuous Advancement Programme (CAP) for the third year running!
The aims of the CAP organisation are to increase standards in the service and performance of a business which supports the development of services for the benefit of the residents. The CAP Awards are given to services in the healthcare sector that show a high standard of catering and housekeeping. An independent auditor completes a series of assessments at an unannounced visit to evaluate if an award is merited.
Pictured below are Simon Lawrence, Head of Culinary and Hospitality at Avery Healthcare and Michelle Oliphant, Home Manager.
Simon commented, “Crispin Court has welcomed several new members to its award-winning housekeeping and culinary team in the last three years, and the deeply embedded positive staff culture enables new staff to quickly become assets to the team. This is evidenced by Crispin Court’s achievement to be awarded the double gold for a third consecutive year, which is simply outstanding. It showcases the dedication, teamwork and effort they put in every day.”
He continued, “Head Chef, Stuart Dale, and Head Housekeeper, Helena Gierth, lead by example every day to ensure high standards are consistently maintained. Well done to them and their teams!”

It was another feather in the CAP for Grove Park Care Home and Astbury Manor Care Home, who also retained their Double Gold CAP earlier this year. These successes show how dedicated all of our staff are in delivering the highest standards of care to all of our residents. Well done everyone!
