Featuring two cafés, a cinema with surround sound and big comfy armchairs, a library on every floor, and a piano lounge, there is much to love about our Stafford care home. The residents’ bedrooms are spacious and have convenient walk-in wet rooms, flat-screen TVs and DVD players, with plenty of room for personal keepsakes, photos, and ornaments.
Our imaginative team of Activity Co-ordinators ensure there’s no shortage of activities to keep the mind and body interested and alert at Crispin Court Care Home.
There is a huge variety of options available to residents looking to spend their time. They can either stay within the care home and have some gentle pampering in our luxurious hair and therapy salons, or enjoy gentle outdoor exercise in the garden, either in keeping fit sessions or hands-on gardening. Alternatively, they can leave the home and explore the local area, courtesy of our private minibus.
We like to explore and visit some of the interesting places on our doorstep such as Chatsworth House, Trentham Park, the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal, or go out to the local theatre, shops and out for pub meals. Our mystery trips are always popular and are also known to visit other Avery care homes, keeping our residents well connected with others.
Modern technology poses no problems for us, and we are keen to use the internet and tablets as resources. YouTube can be very useful for trips down memory lane and stimulating conversation. And, of course, we are no strangers to Facebook either, as it is an excellent way of keeping everyone in touch and up to date with one of the finest care homes in Stafford.
