On Monday 17th March, care homes across our communities embraced the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day with lively celebrations.

St. Patrick’s Day is an annual celebration of Irish culture and heritage that brings together residents and staff for a day filled with joy and music.

Scholars Mews Care Home in Stratford-upon-Avon transformed their restaurant into an Irish tavern, featuring traditional Irish music, a lively pub quiz, and delicious treats such as soda bread with Irish butter, Guinness, and Irish coffee.

At Horse Fair Care Home in Rugeley, residents were treated to an Irish fiddler’s performance, an exciting quiz, and a tipple of Guinness. The day was made even more memorable when some residents tried their hand at Irish step dancing.

Bourn View Care Home in Birmingham had a special visitor, a mischievous leprechaun! He amused residents by making his way around the home, ensuring everyone got a chance to join in the fun.

From Irish music and dancing to traditional cuisine and laughter, St. Patrick’s Day was a delightful celebration across all our care homes, bringing residents together in the true spirit of Ireland.
