On Your Bike!

Company News

At Loxley Park Assisted Living in Sheffield, residents took part in the first of many cycling sessions in their local Hillsborough Park. Ran by experienced staff at Cycling 4 All, the bikes are designed for those who may find it difficult to ride a two-wheeled bike due to disabilities or long-term health conditions. Four excited residents headed off to the first session, with two riding their own trike and two sharing a double trike with a member of the staff team. They all had great fun, with resident Shirley commenting: “I couldn’t believe I was able to ride a bike again! It took me back to my childhood.”

Residents at Clayton Manor Care Home have also been soaking up the sights in their local area of Congleton, going for weekly rides on the Beartown Rickshaw. The charitable company was founded by Anthony Bolding, offering free rickshaw rides in the fresh air around popular local beauty spots, such as Congleton Park, to improve mental health and well-being.
