Life at Avon Valley Care Home in Bristol is active and engaging, with a variety of activities and events organised by dedicated Well-being and Activities Co-ordinators. There is something for everyone, whether it be a trip out on the home’s private minibus to local areas of interest, or local community groups who pass through our doors.
On 13th February, staff and residents welcomed local Police Community Support Officers for a fascinating talk about how fingerprints are taken, exploring how these have evolved from using ink to electronic devices and systems. Residents even had their own fingerprints taken! They are looking forward to welcoming the community members back again soon for another visit.
