Our care homes got into the Greek spirit, celebrating Greek Independence Day with food, fun, and plenty of dancing!
At Eastbourne Gardens Care Home in Eastbourne, residents had a blast with Greek crafting, quizzes, and even their own version of the famous Zorba dance.
Over at Greenholme House Care Home in Ilkley, they tucked into delicious Greek dishes, fully embracing the culture.
Astbury Manor Care Home in Bracknell got creative, weaving baskets and painting jugs before enjoying a tasty Greek feast and a lively party.
Darwin Court Care Home in Lichfield pulled out all the stops with a full-on Greek banquet, topped off with an amazing performance from The Mamma Mia Experience, belting out Abba classics. Meanwhile, at Greensand House Care Home in Redhill, residents made their own Greek ornaments and enjoyed sweet Greek cakes with a cuppa.
At the Hawthorns Aldridge Care Home in Walsall, it was all about crafting, good food, and traditional Greek dancing, while Brentwood Arches Care Home in Essex wrapped up the celebrations with homemade Greek treats, plenty of dancing, and lots of laughter.
It was a fantastic day across our care homes!
