The culinary team at Lady Jane Court Care Home in Leicester were delighted to host their first cutlery-free dining experience on 26th January, opening their dining room for guests to sample some of the delicious menus available to all residents.
Head Chef, Sam, prepared a delicious spread, including Yorkshire Pudding with Roast Beef and Horseradish, Cheese Tarts, Mushroom Tarts, Shepherd’s Pie and Frittata. Following the launch of Avery’s Cutlery-Free Dining initiative in 2021, our teams showcase their creativity, our teams adapt everyday meals into cutlery-free options for residents who find manipulating cutlery a barrier.
