With its central location and welcoming environment, Lady Jane Court Care Home is the perfect place for residents to live their lives to the fullest. Our Aylestone care home lies southwest of Leicester city centre, which means those living with us can quickly get out and about – whether to get to the shops or enjoy a stroll around the area’s leafy suburban streets.
This purpose-built complex features 60 light, airy, spacious bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. Each one is furnished to the highest standard and designed to provide residents with maximum comfort. The rooms feature resident interaction nurse call and information systems, so residents can rest assured they’ll always have the support they need, when they need it.
It’s important that our residents feel comfortable, which is why we encourage them to make their space their own – with mementoes, keepsakes and other trinkets that remind them of those dearest to them. Our residents can also venture outside and enjoy the fresh air amidst our beautifully landscaped gardens. They’re the ideal setting for those quiet moments with a book or a newspaper.
Lady Jane Court Care Home specialises in providing residential, dementia and respite care in Leicester. Every one of our residents is an individual with their own personality, life experiences and care needs. Our philosophy reflects this through an approach that always puts the person at the centre.
We’re always working to develop and innovate holistic care programmes, and our activities are designed with therapeutic outcomes in mind. These activities help to engage memory and involve physical and sensory elements. All our care is tailored to support our residents in enjoying comfortable, happy lives.
Our Aylestone care home’s excellent facilities provide plenty for our residents to keep themselves busy with too. We have an on-site hair salon and barbers, a library for those who love nothing more than to get stuck into a good book and a cinema room where residents can enjoy their favourite films.
We also have a café. This is a catch-up spot, one where our residents can bond with each other, and meet with visiting loved ones. They can make their own plans for activities and excursions – residents are free to come and go from the home as they please. For those trips further afield, we have a private minibus. So, there are plenty of opportunities to visit Leicester’s museums and galleries, as well as the gorgeous Aylestone Meadow – Leicestershire’s largest nature reserve.
I’m Chris, Home Manager at Lady Jane Court Care Home. I am proud to say I have over 30 years of experience working in the care sector. Before stepping into my current role, I have previously worked as a Registered Manager, Area Manager, Regional Director, and most recently Head of Quality Assurance. I have a wealth of experience working with elderly individuals in residential and dementia care, mental health and learning disabilities.
I strongly believe in teamwork and ensuring that working together is implemented at Lady Jane Court Care Home to achieve the highest standard and top-class service to the residents at all times.
