Bagshot Gardens Care Home recently hosted an exciting Team Building Sports Day for staff and residents, filled with friendly competition, laughter, and community spirit. Four teams – Red, Green, Pink, and Blue – competed in a series of classic sports day games to win the coveted Bagshot trophies in bronze, silver, and gold.
The teams took part in a variety of fun activities, including the sack race, bouncy hoppers, hula hoop challenge, egg and spoon race, and the grand finale – a thrilling tug of war. Spirits were high as everyone, from staff to residents, cheered on the competitors. The event ended with the Blue Team taking home the gold, celebrating with a victory lap around the garden.
We were also honoured to be joined by the Mayor of Surrey Heath, Councillor Sarbie Kang, who awarded the prizes. Everyone who participated was given a token of appreciation, but the real prize was the joy and camaraderie shared throughout the day.
Samantha Bell, Home Manager at Bagshot Gardens, expressed..: “It was great fun for all of the team and enjoyed by the residents too.”
A big congratulations to the Blue Team and a heartfelt thank you to everyone who made the day such a memorable success!
