“A good quality of life”: Rivermere CQC Report

Rivermere Care Home in Sevenoaks recently received a positive Care Quality Commission (CQC) report. Though marked ‘inspected but not rated’ due to current national lockdown restrictions, the home received wonderful feedback on both staff and residents’ well-being as well as overall home care and maintenance during the Covid-19 pandemic.

On the staff, one relative commented, “They put their residents first. The care my mother receives at the home gives her a good quality of life.” Pleased with the result of the CQC inspection, Sue Simmonds, Home Manager at Rivermere, commented, “We are delighted that our recent CQC inspection recognised all of the efforts our team have made to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our residents during these challenging times.  We are also very pleased that our residents and their families gave us such positive feedback regarding the service that we offer.”
