On 24th August, Acacia Mews Care Home brought the tropical island of Hawaii to Hatfield as they celebrated their 10th Anniversary in style. Guests were welcomed to the luau with a complimentary Hawaiian-themed buffet and mocktails whilst they enjoyed a wonderful performance of 50s, 60s, 70s & 80s well-known hits by performer Cara.
The home was joined by the Mayor of Welwyn Hatfield Borough, Councillor Barbara Fitzsimon, who presented staff members Sue Radley and Victoria Butler with a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a box of chocolates for their dedication to Acacia Mews over the past 10 years.
