Avery Healthcare is celebrating a moment of national pride after Lisa Turnbull, Home Manager at Grove Park Care Home, attended a prestigious reception at Windsor Castle.
The reception, hosted by Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla, welcomed 300 invited guests from across the United Kingdom. The event recognised individuals and organisations who dedicate their lives to caring for others, highlighting the compassion, professionalism and vital contribution of those working within the care sector. Distinguished attendees included The Duchess of Edinburgh, The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, and Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
Lisa Turnbull attended the reception as the National Association of Care Catering’s nominated representative, following Grove Park Care Home’s achievement in winning the NACC Care Establishment of the Year Award 2025. The nomination reflected the proactive, person‑centred approach that Lisa and her team deliver at Grove Park.
Representing the NACC at the event were National Chair, Neel Radia, National Secretary Judith Buttle, Ilana Tomaz, NACC Care Chef of the Year 2025, and Lisa Turnbull of Grove Park Care Home.
