Waterhouse Manor team members were delighted to attend an unforgettable hospitality evening and home game against Mansfield hosted by Peterborough United F.C., bringing together great food, entertainment, football, and team spirit for a truly memorable experience.
The evening began with a delicious three-course meal, setting the tone for a fantastic night of hospitality. Guests were then treated to an array of entertainment, including a captivating magician, an engaging quiz, and an insightful Q&A session with Peterborough United Manager, Luke Williams, offering a special behind-the-scenes perspective.
As part of Waterhouse Manor’s sponsorship with the club, Natalie, General Manager & Milly, Client Liaison Manager, had the honour of walking out of the pitch before kick-off with other sponsors. A surreal feeling to see the PUFC players and opponents all walk out onto the pitch with the crowd cheering on, all ready for one of the last games of the season.
The highlight of the evening continued on the pitch as Peterborough United faced Mansfield Town F.C. in an exciting fixture, ending in a hard-fought 0-0 draw. Waterhouse Manor was especially honoured to take part in selecting the Man of the Match, proudly awarding the recognition to number 34, David Kamara, and presenting him with a celebratory bottle of champagne at the end of the game.
Amy, Senior Carer, said, “POSH played a good game against Mansfield Town, despite drawing 0-0, it was still great to see the skill and resilience of the team. I had a fun time with my colleagues, sharing the experience together.”
Natalie, General Manager, said, “I was impressed with the experience of our hospitality evening and felt connected to our local football team. It was a privilege to be asked to choose the ‘Man of the Match’, which was a hard pick! We were watching all the players to see who stepped up in key moments and who was influencing the game the strongest. It was honourable to share the experience with my fantastic team members.”
