Tony Collins at Acacia Lodge Care Home in Moston Manchester

Tony Collins was the Football Leagues first black manager when he took up the player/manager vacancy at Rochdale in 1960, subsequently guiding them to Wembley. Tony is now resident at Acacia Lodge Care Home and enjoying life. Ultimately, Tony became a scout at Manchester United where he is credited as having scouted names such as Lee Sharpe, Paul McGrath to name but a few.
