The Face of Avery!
There are individual members of staff who truly embody what it means to work at Avery. Being thoughtful, attentive and calm under pressure are valued characteristics, and we’re very proud to say Irene Edwards certainly exemplifies them all!
Irene joined Avery at the Group Support Centre in Northampton on the reception desk in April 2011 and has proven to be a vital member of the team ever since. It’s not only her kind and helpful nature but also her attention to detail and her extensive knowledge of the company and colleagues that sets her apart. Irene always presents a friendly and professional welcome to everyone who walks through the door or rings in, an incredibly important role, as for many this is the first impression of Avery as a company. Irene takes it all in her stride and sets a great example to us all.
Irene was presented with flowers in recognition for her hard work and commitment, following many positive comments from staff members about her polite and helpful manner as she accomplishes so much in such an unfussed way. Chief Operating Officer, Sharon Winfield, said, “Irene is truly the face of Avery. She is patient and always treats visitors and staff with courtesy, a smile and warmth, and she is a credit to the company.”
