Avery Chefs scoop awards at NACC South-West Regionals

Two of Avery’s Head Chefs scooped awards at the south-west regional finals in the National Association of Care Catering (NACC) – the first time of entering for both.

Emilio Pascucci from Astbury Manor in Bracknell (who was instrumental in our first ever Chef’s Table Event) won Highly Commended in the Dessert Course, and Phil Meyer from Pemberley House in Basingstoke won Highly Commended for the Main Course.

They were guided and supported in their efforts by Head of Culinary for Avery, Simon Lawrence, who commented, “Both chefs had a fantastic day at their first attempt at this event where the competition is very strong; they were both great ambassadors for the company and produced fabulous dishes with great presentation, and to have come away with awards is excellent.”
