Mousehold View wows with spectacular Gala Grand Opening
Mousehold View Care Home in Sprowston pulled out all the stops at its official Grand Gala Opening – complete with plaque unveiling by Phillipa Taylor – Deputy Lieutenant.
Dan Amis – Customer Service Manager at Mousehold View added, “This is the day that we have all been waiting to celebrate with our residents who have chosen to make Mousehold View their home. We have been exceptionally busy since becoming the number 1 Care Home in Norwich, Norfolk and in the top 20 of those listed in the whole of the East of England! Everything is down to the home’s fantastic team and the outstanding care and service they provide!”
Residents, families, and the homes community friends enjoyed an afternoon of Champagne and Canapes expertly hand crafted by the home’s Head Chef – Brett and hospitality team. Councillor James Wright – Lord Mayor of Norwich and Dr Jan Sheldon Sheriff of Norwich also were in attendance commending how much the home is known in the local community and the links it has made already which are flourishing.
Lorna Rose – CEO of Avery Healthcare spent the afternoon meeting residents and thanked the staff for organising such a spectacular event and also had the chance to see where the Time Capsules were buried after the home worked in collaboration with Sprowston Infant and Junior Schools. The Capsules even include her own penned Poem alongside a letter sent by Norfolk’s very own – Stephen Fry!
John Strowbridge Executive Chairman of Avery Healthcare and Artisan Care went on to cut the official celebratory Cake and proposed the toast as Gary Winters filled the afternoon with spectacular singing – alongside a live concert Pianist as guests and staffed danced away.
The home’s official plaque reads, “May this home be a place of happiness and wellbeing. May all who live and visit here know only blessings and peace.” Philippa Taylor Deputy Lieutenant added, “I cannot add anything else! Mousehold View really is a special home and having spoken to many residents today you can tell instantaneously how happy they are and the staff too! Keep up the good work!”
Joy Potter – the home’s first resident was delighted with the Grand Opening adding, “What a superb event – I certainly do like living here!”
The home for Avery Healthcare which specialises in Residential Care Dementia Care and Respite stays which can even be booked a year in advance.
