Cliftonville is proud to support the Northampton Cathedral Food Bank through an ongoing community donation initiative started by Senior Receptionist, Elaine Smith.
Following discussion with volunteers from the Cathedral, a donation hamper was placed in the home’s reception area to encourage contributions from residents, families, and visitors.
Thanks to the kindness and generosity of residents and their families, seven hampers were successfully collected with essential food items to support local people in need. The hampers included a wide range of long-shelf-life food items, such as tinned vegetables, baked beans, soups, pasta, rice, cereals, tea, coffee, biscuits, pasta sauces, and other everyday essentials.
Tomy Abraham, General Manager, said, “This wonderful initiative, led by Elaine, demonstrates the compassion and community spirit that are at the heart of everything we do. Every donation, no matter how small, helps provide essential support to local people facing difficult circumstances, and we are delighted to play a part in making a meaningful difference.”
The initiative has strengthened the connection with the local community while giving residents a meaningful opportunity to contribute to an important charitable cause.
