Avery Healthcare is pleased to announce that it has completed the acquisition of Artisan Care Group, the owner of ten newly developed care homes. This transaction brings 774 additional beds under Avery’s ownership and management, strengthening its position as a leading operator in the luxury care home sector.
Prior to the acquisition, the Artisan homes were operated by the Avery team under management arrangements. The deal transitions these properties into full ownership, marking a significant step in the consolidation and expansion of its national care home portfolio. Following the transaction, Avery now owns and operates 106 homes comprising 8,614 beds across its UK-wide network.
Commenting on the acquisition, Jeremy Richardson, Avery’s Chief Executive said “We are delighted to welcome the Artisan homes into the Avery Group. Through our previous management relationship, these are homes we know well and there is very clear fit with wider Group’.
The Group’s majority shareholder David Jr Reuben of Reuben Brothers added “Acquiring the Artisan Group was an obvious strategic step given the strength of the relationship and further solidifies our long term commitment to Avery and the social care sector”.
