Acorn Lodge has recently formed a valued partnership with Nuneaton Golf Club, and to mark the occasion, residents Julia and John, together with members of the team, enjoyed a special visit to the club.
The group were warmly welcomed and began their morning in the clubhouse, where they enjoyed refreshments and had the chance to relax and take in the atmosphere. This was followed by a guided tour of the stunning course, offering a closer look at the grounds and facilities. A particular highlight was a visit to Hole 3, which Acorn Lodge is proudly sponsoring.
The visit became especially meaningful for resident John, who experienced a touching trip down memory lane. During the tour, it was discovered that he was previously a member of the club. He was delighted to find his name displayed on a plaque recognising his achievement of winning a trophy in 2009.
The experience was made even more memorable when John was reunited with a familiar face from his time at the club, who kindly helped guide the group around the course and added a personal touch to the day.
It was a truly enjoyable morning that highlighted the strength of community connections and the value of long-standing local relationships.
