Abbey Court Complete Remembrance Garden

Over the summer, staff and residents at Abbey Court Care Home in Cannock have been prepping their outdoor space to build their own remembrance garden.

Residents have been planting an abundance of different plants and flowers in memory of loved ones close to those at the home. Well-being and Activities Co-ordinator, Barbara Yapp, who has been assisting the green-fingered residents, said, “It’s wonderful to see our beautiful remembrance garden coming along so nicely”. Photos of the end result were shared to Facebook to the delight of relatives, including Anne, who commented, “How beautiful!”
