100 Hearts at Alma Court

Friday 30th April 2021 would have marked Captain Sir Tom Moore’s 101st birthday. To commemorate this day, his family set out a challenge and tasked the public to conjure up their own ‘100’ challenge; this could be anything from completing laps to writing letters. In honour of the late Captain Tom and to celebrate a resident’s 100th birthday, staff and residents at Alma Court Care Home in Cannock made and decorated paper hearts with messages of love and greetings.

Well-being and Activities Co-ordinator, Kayleigh Perry, said, “We were lucky enough that one of our residents’ birthdays fell close to the time of the challenge. It was great to make extra special decorations for our lovely lady!”
