Just a stone’s throw from Ashcroft Theatre and Fairfield Halls, Purley Gardens Care Home has excellent transport links, including easy access to the M25. Residents stay connected to loved ones and are free to come and go as they please. Staff are trained to deliver complex nursing care with dignity and warmth, giving residents and their families peace of mind that care is available 24/7.
A dedicated memory care suite provides support for residents living with dementia, following Avery’s sector-leading approach based on the most up-to-date research on how best to care for residents living with dementia. Dementia care nurses nurture a calm environment, with a person-centred approach tailored to individual needs.
Residents are welcomed and encouraged to join in with the activities going on within the home, each of which are planned by our dedicated Well-being and Activities Team. A weekly calendar of activities and events offers arts and crafts, baking, exercises and visits from talented entertainers and musicians.
We are firm believers in supporting our local community here at Purley Gardens Care Home, and residents play a big part in this, always looking for new ways we can help out. For many years we have taken great pride in extending our care to the Purley Food Hub by donating goods to their local food bank for those in need.
We constantly refine and develop our care programmes to ensure residents get the most out of our activities, exploring physical and sensory elements. With access to a private minibus, residents can also enjoy day trips to local theatres and garden centres, as well as nearby towns and villages.

The team enjoy supporting residents to maintain life skills and engage in meaningful activities which promote a sense of accomplishment. With over 20 years of clinical experience in the NHS and private sectors, he has held senior roles in healthcare including Registered General Nurse, Home Manager, Regional Manager and Consultant. Gregg is passionate about delivering person-centred care and ensuring high standards of support for residents. Gregg’s experience in clinical practice and leadership enables him to create a compassionate and nurturing environment at Purley Gardens Care Home.
