I have been working in the care sector for over 20 years and joined Hanford Court Care Home in 2012. My journey into care began with a role as a Care Assistant and over time, I pursued further training and qualifications, which allowed me to take on more responsibilities and progress into management positions. Originally from Stoke-on-Trent, I have always had a deep-rooted desire to help others, and this drive has fuelled my commitment to delivering high-quality care. At Hanford Court Care Home, I am incredibly proud to lead a team of compassionate and skilled professionals. Together, we work hard to ensure that every resident feels valued, safe, and cared for in a warm and welcoming environment. I believe that building a positive atmosphere not only benefits our residents but also helps our staff thrive in their roles. Outside of work, I enjoy football, which gives me a great sense of fun and fulfilment.
