With 86 apartments, we also offer companion suites for couples who need extra support during their later years. A care home of unrivalled comfort and quality, our spacious en-suite rooms are fully furnished to a high standard.
We encourage residents to spend time outdoors in our beautiful leafy surroundings, taking in the fresh air and relaxing with a cup of tea and a book. Green-fingered residents enjoy tending to our flower beds, and growing herbs and vegetables which are used by our chefs. Equally, our gardens provide the perfect place for a friendly game of bowls, or a gentle stroll in the sunshine.

When it comes to well-being, our dedicated Activities Co-ordinators deliver a weekly calendar of activities and events, ensuring we put residents at the heart of everything we do. Moving into a care home doesn’t mean leaving your life and hobbies behind, and residents are supported in continuing to pursue their interests amongst like-minded companions.
From dancing in our vibrant lounge areas and baking our own tasty treats, to pottery classes and movie nights, there is always something to get involved in. Residents also enjoy regular outings on our minibus, visiting places of interest including the Royal Air Force Museum. General ManagerI joined Chorleywood Manor Care Home in September 2010 as a Reminiscence Co-ordinator and have since progressed through roles including Assisted Living Co-ordinator and Deputy Home Manager, ultimately becoming General Manager. With 22 years in healthcare, I am committed to providing the highest standards of care for elderly and vulnerable adults.
I am an enthusiastic and organised person who loves building strong working relationships. I’ve been lucky to work alongside passionate colleagues, and I’ve gained so much from collaborating with them. I wholeheartedly embrace the Avery Healthcare values and believe in the importance of helping others. At Chorleywood Manor Care Home, we encourage teamwork and a commitment to exceptional care, and I am dedicated to upholding these principles as General Manager.
