For those who find manipulating cutlery a barrier, we offer a sector-leading cutlery-free dining approach, allowing residents to maintain a sense of independence at mealtimes. Staff members spend time one-to-one with residents, learning more about their lives and hobbies to ensure they devise a bespoke care plan, along with friends and family members who are encouraged to become active participants in life at Chorleywood Manor Care Home.
I joined Chorleywood Manor Care Home in September 2010 as a Reminiscence Co-ordinator and have since progressed through roles including Assisted Living Co-ordinator and Deputy Home Manager, ultimately becoming General Manager. With 22 years in healthcare, I am committed to providing the highest standards of care for elderly and vulnerable adults.
I am an enthusiastic and organised person who loves building strong working relationships. I’ve been lucky to work alongside passionate colleagues, and I’ve gained so much from collaborating with them. I wholeheartedly embrace the Avery Healthcare values and believe in the importance of helping others.
